EA released the first teaser for FIFA 23 on July 21, featuring Real Madrid recruit Luediger and Manchester City recruit Harland. It also confirmed that the game will feature a women’s league and World Cup mode, as well as cross-platform play. FIFA 23 releases on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30th, 2022.
For the first time in the series, FIFA 23 will feature women’s club teams in the Barclays Premier League in the UK and the Women’s League in France. Two World Cup tournaments will also feature in the game, with the 2022 Men’s World Cup in Qatar and the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand as free updates upon launch.
It is important to note that all the 1 v1 mode in this series will support cross-platform play, including FUT, and online, online season friendly means PS5, XSX | S and PC players can play together, PS4 and Xbox One player can also.
There will be a FIFA 23 Legacy edition on the Switch platform. Similar to the past, the Legacy Edition will only be updated with new season information (transfer information, etc.), with the same game modes and features as FIFA 22.
