In order to reveal the worst airlines in the world, AirlineRatings focused on air safety, has made a ranking list that discriminates which of the safest and most dangerous airlines in the world.
Gathering data from various international aviation and government sources, he developed a list where he scores from 1 to 7, with the lowest notes corresponding to the most insecure and therefore worse top 10 worst airlines.
The criteria that served as the basis for this analysis were several, such as the number of fatalities, compliance with safety standards imposed by the International Civil Aviation Organization, the rigor of their inspections, if they were audited by IOSA (Operational Safety Audit of IATA) and how many values (from 0 to 8) were obtained in this audit.
Other factors considered were whether the companies belong to the Federal Aviation Administration (AFA), whether they are allowed to fly in the European Union’s airspace and what country they operate in.
The list below shows the worst airlines, which received a score of 3 or less in this evaluation.

AFRIQIYAH
We took note 3, had a fatality in 2010, and got 0 in the IOSA audit. You are not allowed to fly in the European Union.
AIR BAGAN
He obtained a score 3 in this evaluation, had a fatality in 2012. He passed the IOSA audit with 5 out of 8 total scores.
AIRASIA THAILAND
With a note 2 in this classification, this airline does not belong to the Federal Aviation Administration (AFA) nor did the IOSA audit.

It had a fatality in 2011, did not pass the IOSA audit, with only 4 values in eight. It was awarded note 2.
ARIANA AFGHAN AIRLINES
Not allowed to fly in European airspace, it was considered unsafe to even be audited by IOSA. We took note 2.
BANGKOK AIR
It had 3 but had fatalities in 2009. It does not belong to the Federal Aviation Administration (AFA) and has not been audited because its operations are causing concern.
BLUE WING
Although it was audited with 6/8 figures, this airline was rated 2, as it had fatalities in 2010 and is not allowed in European Union airspace.
CAMAIR-CO
With note 3, this company did not pass the audit, had 4/8 values.
CAMBODIA ANGKOR AIR
Even though it had a very low score in the audit, only 1/8, this airline was classified with note 3, as it did not have a fatality record and belong to the Federal Aviation Administration (AFA).
CITILINK
With 0 values in the audit, this company had a grade 3, for the same reasons as the previous one.
FASTJET
With 0 values in the audit, Fastjet earned a grade 3 in this classification, since it is a company that is allowed to fly in the European Union and has no record of fatalities.
FELIX AIRWAYS
Also, like the previous one, this airline had a grade 3 for passing the same criteria, but it was not considered for auditing because it was considered unsafe.
KALSTAR AVIATION
This company has not even been audited, and cannot fly in the European Union. We took note 2, one of the worst top 10 worst airlines in the world.
KAM AIR
Without minimum security to be audited, and without being able to travel through the European Union, this airline had a note 2.
NEPAL AIRLINES
It was noted 1 because it did not comply with various criteria, such as being able to fly in the European Union, to be free of fatalities and to have been audited. With this note, this company is one of the top 10 worst airlines in the world.
